Antea Resort - an architectural impression in a native habitat
In the amazing gulf "Aklady", connecting the water area of Sozopol and Chernomorets, one sees the serene, azure blue waters, the sand dunes in a gorgeous beach line, against the scenic background of some of the most picturesque sunrises and sunsets, in the outskirts of rounded, gently descending deciduous woods. It was perhaps this magnificent beauty that brought the first known settlers here, thousands of years ago, leaving their traces in the little-known until recently settlement of Antea.
A different, new concept will develop on this extraordinary landscape, a vision of the environment that complements today's man, preserving his fundamental right to be in contact with nature, while at the same time being saturated with function and presence.
Concept
"Antea resort" is a waterfront, holiday complex with an innovative formula whose fundamental idea is to add maximum value to the existing natural features without affecting their delicate balance. The green zone, which is intended to cover the entire territory of the complex, will add a sense of vastness and space.
Providing a stunning counterpoint to the concentration of construction in the coastal areas, the development will have its own park with large Mediterranean pine trees, combined with low and medium species, lushly landscaped surroundings and, in complement, roof landscaping to the holiday homes. Additionally, an extensive water system with a total of 65 swimming pools, water mirrors and fountains is available to the residents. The abundance of greenery and waters, seaside air and hot sunshine form one of the most favorable conditions for the human body. The specific microclimate which the landscaping will establish in the holiday complex is also intended to regulate the negative effects of excessive sun exposure, high temperatures and blowing sea winds. Thereby, the outdoor areas become attractive for various types of leisure activities, even in the hottest months of the year.
The referral to the Mediterranean shores through the elegant influences of architecture and landscaping is a kind of tribute to the memory of this territory. The architectural concept developed is truly reminiscent of the structure of a charming, autonomous Mediterranean town. Choose between gorgeous, detached beachfront villas with the privilege of direct access to the beach and the sea, or the " neighborhoods " with spacious linear houses with private cosy courtyard and swimming pool, or apartments varied in volume and configuration with spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding area.

The inside and outside areas are merged as much as possible through direct access and panoramic windows.
Facilities and contents
The defined, varied spaces contribute to the optimal functioning of the facility in a natural way. The zoning introduced does not restrict the access of the occupants, but helps the logic and distribution of the different types of activities according to their specific needs. Thus, based on their choice of accommodation, everyone can enjoy their holiday to the utmost, and at the appropriate speed, from quiet in privacy to fun in bustling style. The build-up is flowing - from the exclusive line of detached beach villas - Antea Beach Villa, through the beamed two-storey terraced Antea Sea Houses and the varying volumes and layouts of the Antea Sea Residence u Antea Green Residence apartment buildings.
Activities
The uniting areas are the beach, the Antea Garden Internal Park, the plaza with seating areas, the restaurants, the play areas, and the retail park located immediately adjacent. The Sports Zone is designed as an independent site with individual access also available for external visitors and close to the retail park and the main road.
Four restaurants are designed within the complex two of which are directly on the seafront - the seafood themed Beach Fish Restaurant and the more clubby Beach Restaurant & Club. The Garden Restaurant is located in the park area and major events are planned to take place in the Events Restaurant located in the Conference Block.
For the younger residents, along with all the other facilities and activities, the resort comes with a Kids Club offering a variety of group activities and play facilities, as well as a number of playgrounds, evenly spaced in convenient proximity to the residential units and developed on an individual basis.
Infrastructure
The complex has a main and secondary entrance located at the major external access points.
Automobile traffic within the complex is also optimized. Although it reaches all areas, priority has been given in favour of more abundant landscaping space. The pedestrian lane network has been mapped out with an intuitive approach, taking into account the needs and volumes of flows, by providing quick and convenient connections, direct access to the main units, and more peaceful walk-around radial routes. Autonomous access to the beach is provided for external visitors without mixing the different movements. Cycling lanes are taken out to the edges, providing access for getting from the main entrance to the beach.
Special consideration has been given to parking areas. Once again, the leading principle is to provide the maximum amount of uninterrupted spaces, but taking into account accessibility and economic efficiency factors. The designed solutions are based on a hybrid principle - underground parking in the apartment buildings, also ground and underground parking at the sites of the sports area and the retail park, the most careful distribution of the above-ground parking spaces in the inner part of the development.
