First of its kind in the city of Kostinbrod, the project Amur Gardens sets a new standard in the town's residential architecture. The new complex stimulates an undeveloped area, located in an attractive location - on one of the main thoroughfares in the city - Slavyanska Street, providing quick access from Lomsko Shose and connection with Sofia. The project, as well as the proximity of Kostinbrod to the capital, provides an alternative place to live for people working in Sofia and seeking the peace and clean air of the small town.
The property is approached from three sides via a local lane and a secondary street, not encumbering traffic on the main road. The four pure volumes, representing rectangular prisms, are strategically positioned at the edges of the property and define the organization of the Amur Gardens complex, freeing up as much space as possible in the center of the plot. The open spaces inside are thus conceived as communal gardens with sports and playground areas and provide comfort for the occupants while encouraging social interactions and an active lifestyle.
The architectural style is contemporary and concise, with a distinct geometric structure. The austerity of the grid is partially broken by vertical and horizontal elements. The materials used - clinker and granite - not only contribute to the aesthetic appearance of the buildings, but also ensure the durability of the façade and its resistance to weathering.
The project includes 256 apartments and is an important undertaking in the development of Kostinbrod as a modern sustainable city. It is an example of how architecture can be integrated into the urban environment, creating new opportunities for social and economic development.
